The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Center's mission is to provide palliative care to terminally ill people of all ages in order to promote an end of life with dignity and serenity. Located in a peaceful environment, the House has twelve perfectly equipped individual rooms. We offer professional care focused on comprehensive support for sick people, their family members and loved ones.

35 hours / week (Possibility of 32 hours/week)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative (75%)
​
-
Respond to calls and emails received at the general management;
-
Keep files up to date;
-
Plan and coordinate courier and mail shipments;
-
Update various administrative documents, procedures and lists;
-
Take care of the telephone system;
-
Contribute to the management of computer equipment and keys;
-
Assist the management team in carrying out their administrative tasks such as writing letters, procedures, creating Excel spreadsheets, etc.;
-
Take notes during management committees, boards of directors and board committees, write the minutes;
-
Draft the resolutions of the Board of Directors and all other related correspondence as needed;
-
Coordinate management meetings;
-
Make the linguistic correction of the House documents;
-
Maintain inventory of office supplies and maintenance equipment;
-
Perform annual updates to the business register;
-
Ensure the updating of the register of members according to the rules, following the election of officers.

Material resources (25%)
-
Make service calls according to the different needs of the Organization;
-
Request quotes from different suppliers according to the projects in force;
-
Perform evaluation certificate renewals twice a year by contacting the supplier;
-
Be the resource person when there are suppliers on site.

REQUIRED PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS:

Possess a DEP in secretarial studies;
-
Have at least 2 relevant experience in a similar position;
-
Master French, both orally and in writing;
-
Good knowledge of English, both oral and written;
-
Intermediate knowledge of the MS Office suite, including WORD and EXCEL.

Salary $22.54 to $26 per hour, depending on experience;

Vacation: equivalent to 8% of accumulated working weeks after one year of service;
